6TB and 6BH

Welcome to Year 6

This is what we will be learning this half term

Powerpoint presentation from the parent's evening 31.10.17

PE days

Year 6 have indoor PE on Monday and outdoor PE on Tuesday.  The children will therefore need the correct PE clothes on these days.

Homework

Year 6 will receive the following homework this year -

Chilli Challenge homework -  year 6 will not be given chilli challenge homework until after SATS. The children can use this time to prepare for SATS and work in the revision booklets, if they have them.

We will send some completed tests home for children to share with you and do corrections if applicable. Please ask your child if they have any maths or grammar tests in their school bag!

Tuesday - A maths sheet to be handed in the following morning.  The children will go through the answers in class with the teacher and any misconceptions will be addressed.

Wednesday - 10 spellings to learn for the following Wednesday.  Children can practise these spellings using the spelling activities below.  They will only bring home a list of 10 words (not their spelling book) and can write the spellings in sentences but do not have to.  They are not required to hand anything in.
