We hope you have enjoyed learning all about Britain in the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages. We have loved looking at all the topic work you have completed at home. We have been impressed with how much you have learnt and how creative you have been.
For the final task, we would like you to create a piece of work to show how much you have learnt. You could focus on your favourite 'age', a particular aspect of live and how that changed throughout the time period e.g houses or you could include facts from across the time period. The choice is yours!
Here are some ideas of what you could create, but you may have your own:
- A poster (some children have even created giant posters during lockdown)
- A powerpoint
- A leaflet/information booklet
- Fact cards
- A presentation for your family
- A model or piece of art
If you would like to share your piece of work with us, please use our class email.
**Only complete the above PHSE task if your child is NOT going to be in school next week.
As well as the Joe Wicks daily workout broadcast on Youtube at 9am every day below are some links that we have been provided with.
Well done to all the children that took part in the West Yorkshire Virtual Sports Day last week. Across the county there were thousands of entries and on the day we were one of many schools that were in line to win a prize for the Netball Challenge as our average score was joint top with 30 other schools, out of a total of 367 schools! Unfortunately our name didn't come out of the hat to be the overall winner of this event but what a fantastic achievement! I found it really hard to get the 2 points for throwing the ball in the air, lying down, and then catching it - it sounds like many of you managed to do this!
