P.E - Staying active

Online P.E lessons with Joe Wicks (the Body Coach)

A message from Joe Wicks, the Body Coach:

"I am holding LIVE PE lessons at 9am Monday to Friday on my YouTube channel for children of all ages. Parents are going to be under pressure next week and for 30 minutes a day, I can take over and inspire and energise the kids to get active, bounce around and have fun. You can even join in with the kids."

Classroom workouts with Joe Wicks

As part of our afternoon session, we often complete one of Joe's 5 minute classroom workouts to get us ready for the next part of our learning. It's a quick workout that is bound to get the blood flowing and get your child's mind ready for the next part of their day.

In class, we often use yoga as a way of calming down an environment and focusing ourselves ready for the next task that we have to do. Please click on the link below to see which yoga videos we have used. There is a real mixture, including different themes and different lengths of time. Enjoy!

Dance with Oti Mabuse

Strictly Come Dancing's reigning champion, Oti Mabuse, alongside her husband, have created a series of dance lessons that children are able to access and follow on. All of the videos are available through her YouTube channel.
