St Matthew’s Church...

As a church of England primary school, we have a special relationship with St Matthew’s Church and its community.  This is a mutually supportive relationship and the church plays a key role in helping the school deliver its Christian vision for education within this community.

For around 800 years, St. Matthew’s Church has hosted Christian worship and fellowship in the heart of Chapel Allerton, originally on the site of the old graveyard on Harrogate Road. In 2020 we celebrated 120 years of our current Church building which is a grade II listed building in the Diocese of Leeds.
