Our Harvest festival celebration on Monday 19th October 2026 is fast approaching. Our children will be performing songs, reciting poems and giving readings as part of this celebration. The services will be in St Matthew’s Church and will be open for parents and carers. The times for the celebrations will be:

Reception and Key Stage 1 (Rec, Y1 and Y2) at 9.30am

  Key Stage 2 (Y3, Y4, Y5 and Y6) at 10.30am

So that we can have our colourful display of harvest food, we are asking for contributions of dried and tinned food.  Foods such as pasta, rice, powdered milk, sugar, fruit juice (long life), soup, pasta sauces, sponge pudding (tinned), tomatoes (tinned), cereals, rice pudding (tinned), tea bags, instant coffee, instant mashed potato, tinned fish / meat, tinned fruit, jam, biscuits or snack bars are the most suitable. The food contributions will be collected on Friday 16th October.  There will be a collection point set up at the side church entrance (just behind Jakeetos entrance) before and after school.  After the services, all contributions will be collected by the local food bank and distributed to the local community.
