Careers Week

We are excited to announce that St Matthew’s will be holding a careers week, aimed at providing our students with valuable insights into different professions and inspiring them to explore various career paths.

Careers week will take place during the week beginning 15^th June and will involve a series of interactive sessions, workshops, and presentations conducted by professionals from a wide range of fields.  We believe that exposure to real-life experiences and hearing from individuals with diverse careers will broaden our students’ horizons and ignite their passion for learning.

We held a very successful careers week two years ago and welcomed librarians, an Olympic diver, vets, judges, police officers and sales advisors amongst others into school to talk to a class of up to 30 children for anything between 20 minutes and an hour.  We are looking for volunteers from all walks of life and occupations.  Any time you could offer would be much appreciated as the benefits of these experiences for the children are huge.
