We are pleased to announce that, as we get closer to our final count, our Summer Fair raised just over £4000 this year. A huge ‘THANK YOU’ to everyone who attended on the day and also to our amazing SMART Team for all of their hard work and dedication. So much work went on behind the scenes to prepare for the day and their continued support is much appreciated by school. There will be lots more events happening next year so keep an eye on Arbor for updates so you do not miss out! All funds raised at school events go a long way to supporting projects across school.
Just a quick message from SMART:
“Thank you to the over 30 volunteers of parents, carers and staff that helped on stalls at the Summer Fair, and the many more who supported in advance to make the day a success.
We have raised over £4,000, which will go towards the ongoing makeover of the outdoor spaces at St Matthew's.
There are thank you cards from the SMART Committee in the office for you to collect.
Thank you to everyone who sent in unwanted toys, tombola prizes, lucky bag items and cakes - these stalls make a lot of money for the fair.

We are having a very relaxed get-together at Further North on Thursday 10th September at 8pm to celebrate successes, discuss feedback and plan our next academic year. We would love to see you there!
