We are very much looking forward to our Summer Fair on Saturday 4th July between 11.00am and 1.30pm. It is a fantastic event, run by our SMART team, which helps raise money for the school (at this time, SMART is currently supporting school to make improvements to our playgrounds and outdoor spaces). We will see the return of many of our usual stalls as well as inviting along some new ones. You can come and buy a selection of food, have a go on the bouncy castle and super slide, attempt our assault course and even see a fire engine! Points for your information:
Volunteers and General Contributions
Volunteers are required to help set up the fair on the Friday during the school day, help set up on the Saturday morning (put out tables and put things on the tables), help run the stalls during the fair and then to support with the pack down. Currently, we have 17 volunteers fewer than in 2025, which will have a significant impact on our fundraising efforts at the Summer Fair this year. Therefore, if you feel you can help, please click the link below to complete the volunteer form:
Your help, even just for an hour, will go a long way in ensuring the day runs smoothly and is a success. Please feel free to team up with a friend, or even work as a family, to cover a stall throughout the day!
If you cannot make the Summer Fair, but would still like to contribute to the fundraising, you can do so via the SMART donations page on People's Fundraising here:
Stall Contributions
We would kindly ask that you support us with the following:
· If your child is in Reception, Year 1, Year 2 or Year 3 we ask that you help with donations for our cake stall so any sweet treats, preferably home baking, would be much appreciated. This year we are trying to minimise waste therefore we will not be distributing cake boxes. Alternatively, we would kindly ask that baking items are handed in, in boxes/containers that do not require returning (old chocolate boxes for example).
· If your child is in Year 4, Year 5 or Year 6 we ask that you help with new unused/unopened prizes for the general tombola stall. This could be items such as gift sets, chocolates, games, toys to mention a few - however please no bottles/glass.
· All classes - If you have any good quality, appropriate old toys, books and teddies, these would be much appreciated for our ‘Pre-loved Toy and Teddy Stall’
· All classes - For our lucky bags, we kindly ask that you donate items such as multi packs of small sweets /choc bars (no nuts), small craft items, stickers, tattoos, seeds, balloons, Lego cubes, key rings, stationery, small toys, new hair accessories etc.
· If you wish to make any additional donations, please feel free to do so.
If you have more than one child in school, please contribute what you can.
Non-uniform Day
Non-uniform day is on Wednesday 1st July to collect all your contributions. We allow the children to come in non-uniform
and in return they bring all their goodies in for the fair.
Cakes and Baking Goods
These should only be brought in on Friday 3rd July.
Allergies
Please ensure any items for the cake stall, tombola etc do not contain nuts. A list of ingredients for home baking would be much appreciated.

Please note that, although some food vendors will be able to accept card payments, this is a mainly cash event. If you can come along with loose change rather than large bank notes that would be much appreciated.
If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact the school.
