The school Running Club is open to up to 60 children from across Year 5 and 6, where each year group will alternate training weeks.
In the sessions, the children will prepare themselves to compete in the Leeds North East Cross Country Championships. Any children that qualify from this round will then represent Leeds North East at the Leeds City Finals. From here the next round is the West Yorkshire School Games, followed by the National Finals!!
This half term (Spring 2) will be the final term for Running Club as the Cross Country season is coming to an end. We look forward to welcoming the children currently in Year 4 in September and we hope to see all the children from Year 5 rejoin as well.
