The Teaching and Learning Committee met in July to review the data for the end of the school year including the SATS results.
Although there is never room for complacency the results are very encouraging with 97% of children achieving over Level two at the end of Key stage 1 against a national average of 93%.
At the end of Key Stage Two 83% of all students achieved the expected Level 4 against a national average of 87% but if children with diagnosed additional needs such as Dyslexia are removed from the results as the new Ofsted framework allows our rate rises to 100%.
Progress is above expectation across the school and the quality of learning opportunities offered to our children continues to improve. The Governors look forward to working alongside the staff in school to continue our journey to provide the best learning provision we can for all the children in our care.
